The Problem and Our Goals
One of the most nerve-wracking experiences can be when a student moves away from their comfortable homes into a completely new environment on campus. The transition from living at home to on campus can be difficult. Some students arrive on campus lacking the basic knowledge on how to survive dorm or university life. This website aims to provide these students with a collection of tips and information focusing on university life. Whether you are a student of U of R, or a different university student, we hope to let new students know that they are not alone, and that this website will assist in providing the information necessary for a smooth transition to living independently.

Our website was created with the hope of being a personal/hobby website for blogs related to university life. Our small team of four members would be in charge of creating and posting blogs together. Blogs would take 1-2 weeks as ample time is needed for researching, editing, and polishing useful blogs.
Currently, we do not have the option of letting other university students create and post their own blogs. As our team possibly expands in knowledge and size, this is an option we hope to utilize in the future. For now, we aim to create a website that addresses basic issues students have problems with when transitioning to university life.
Our Audience
While our website includes The University of Rochester name, the audience for our website stands as mainly all university students, or those that are living independently.
Any student struggling with living on their own at their university is welcome to visit our website for tips or information.
